Obituary:
Georgia Christine Hyde Sparkman, age 81 of Idabel, passed away Sept. 6, 2011 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.The daughter of Joe and Della (Campbell) Hyde, Georgia was born on Feb.22, 1930 in Caddo, Okla.
On July 26, 2011, she celebrated her 67th wedding anniversary to Travis C. Sparkman Sr. Georgia was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and worked at McCurtain Memorial Hospital from 1970 until 2005 as a supervisor in Central Supply. She especially enjoyed working in her flower beds and collecting wind chimes.
Georgia was preceeded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; Imogene Stepp, Alta Hughes, and R.V. Bean. 3 brothers; Pete Hyde, Carol Hyde and Ed Hyde.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Travis of the home.1 Daughter; Christine and Jim Eastep Sr. of Idabel. 5 Sons; Cliff and Roberta; Joe and Linda, Lee and Teresa, Roger and Lucille all of Idabel and Gary and Janet of Madill Okla. 1 sister; Fern Bess of North Bend, Or.
21 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren also survive along with several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Just heard of Georgia's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. We, the Charlie Warren Sr and your family, the Hydes grew up together. I have so many fond memories of those years. God bless.
