Obituary:
Billy Joe Flowers, 71, of Idabel, Oklahoma passed from this life October 3, 2011 at Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born March 14, 1940 at Clarksville, Texas, the son of James Everet Flowers and Francis Ola Gardenier Flowers.
Billy lived in McCurtain County the past 14 years. He was of the Baptist faith and his hobbies included mechanic work, hunting, fishing and visiting with friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, James Flowers of Idabel, OK, one son, Billy Wayne Flowers of Idabel; and several cousins.

Graveside services were held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at Canfield Cemetery with Reverend Horton McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Canfield Cemetery.
