FRIDAY, NOV. 11. 2011 NORWOOD-NATION FUNERAL HOME, IDABEL, OK SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2011 NORWOOD-NATION FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL INTERMENT: MAPLE SPRINGS CEMETERY IDABEL, OKLAHOMA Obituary: Steve "D Daddy Love'' Milligan entered his heavenly home on November 3, 2011 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 26. He was born July 17, 1985 to Henry and Mamie Milligan in Idabel. Steve joined Maple Springs Baptist Church at an early age, then later became a member of Community Faith Fellowship where he was involved in the choir "he truly loved to sing." He was a computer wiz, loved video games and spending time with his family. Steve was an entrepreneur and had a very promising business. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Milligan Sr., his grandparents, Johnnie and Maggie Batties and Frank and Renell Milligan, his great-grandmother, Roanna Jackson, his uncles, Johnnie Batties, Jr., and his aunts, Faye French and Frankie Addie. Steve leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mamie Milligan, his brothers and sisters; Johntavious Taylor of (DeQueen, Arkansas), Henry Milligan Jr. of (Fort Smith, Arkansas), Joey Milligan (Melissa) of (Idabel, Oklahoma), Henry Milligan II of (Oklahoma City), Sharon Milligan of (Luther, Oklahoma) Chrissy Milligan of (Idabel), Shalonda Oliver of (Lawton, Oklahoma), JoAnn Jackson of (Oklahoma City), his aunts and uncles, Roana Favors (Billie), Coryatta Nelson (Tommy) Lynell Batties, all of Idabel, Glorice Biglow (Don) of (Oklahoma City), Pearl Gregory(Cecil) of (Oklahoma City) JoAnn McKnight(Raymond) of Phoenix, Arizona), Sammie Joe(Geneva) Batties of (Rialto CA), Rev. Lonnie Batties Sr. (Detroit, Michigan), and Don Milligan of (Oklahoma City, OK). He also leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted fiance' Katy Hughes of (Oklahoma City) a very special nephew, Elijah Houston and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, November11, 2011 at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Norwood-Nation Chapel with Rev. Kevin Haywood officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Springs Cemetery, Idabel, Oklahoma. |
