Obituary:
Clemmie "Mimi" Baxter, 60, of Waskom, Texas passed from this life on November 11, 2011 at Longview, Texas. She was born August 29, 1951 at Pleasant Hill, OK, the daughter of James William Young and Geneva Hildreth. She had lived the past eight years in Waskom, moving from Broken Bow, OK. Clemmie was a graduate of Haworth Schools. She was
a hair stylist and enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, one brother, James Earl Young and one sister, Sylvia Young Laney.
Clemmie leaves to cherish her memory, a special friend, Carter Wayne Ashley of Waskom, Texas; one son, Todd Baxter and Vickie, of Harlengen Texas; one daughter, Shannon and Derick Quintana of DeBerry, Texas; two bothers, Robert Young and Wanda of Haworth, OK; and William Young and Rhonda of Eagletown, OK; two sisters,
Bettie and Butch Harrison of Haworth and Geraldine Brown of Borger, Texas;
seven grandchildren, Caleb Baxter, Halley Rodgers, Savannah Quintana,
Ashley Quintana, Douglas Quintana, Brooke Burns, Michelle Burns.
Services will 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Norwood-Nation Chapel, Idabel, Oklahoma with Rev. Horton McDonald officiating. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.
