Obituary:
David S. Horn, age 69,, of Harris, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 in Paris, Texas. He was born March 15, 1940 in Haworth, Oklahoma, and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
David was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Daisy Proctor Horn, wife, Verna Lee Flood Horn, infant daughter, Shirley Lee Horn and sister, Shirline Horn.
Daivd leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Stanley Horn, of Idabel, one son, Ed Flood and Glenda Heathman of Idabel; two daughters,
Wilma Vandiver and husband, Eddie of Idabel, and Paula and Jake Smith of the Harris Community, five grandchildren, Erica Prewitt and husband,, Nick of Waco, Texas, Terry Flood and wife Julie of Holly Creek, Mindy McGinnis and husband, Matthew of Idabel, Tim Flood of the Goodwater Community and Samuel Heathman of Idabel; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Young, Kathryn Alford, Rance Allen Prewitt, Rylee Joe Prewitt and William Jasper Flood, and special friends, Jeff, Shantae and Jessie Johnson of the Harrris Community, and a host of family and friends.
