I still have the warm memory of that cold and icy night on Feb. 9, 1978 in Dallas with Ernie and Tawna. My heart is heavy with losing a part of our Family. It has been about 18 years since my son (Robert) and I met Ernie, Wesley and Jerod for an overnight fishing trip in Texas. I appreciate that memory so very much. That was such a long time ago. I love Ernie and Tawna.

I am so very sad for this loss, but now so grateful for the time I did get to spend with him while attending his grandfather's funeral. He loved his grandparents and shared wonderful memories he had with them. Wesley seemed attentive to everyone, he was so compassionate and kind to others. And, yes Tawna that was a big, beautiful, gorgeous smile! Makes me smile thinking about it. Ernie and Tawna you are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. God bless you.

I remember the fun we all had when our children were small. Those are precious memories and I will always remember Wes as that precious boy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God gather you all into his loving arms and comfort you during this time.

Dearest Ernie & Tawna, There are just no words for what you must be experiencing. Robert and I can only imagine how difficult yesterday was for you both. We will always remember that little boy, who was all boy! Our lives have taken different twist, but as our children were born, with Wes being one of the first, we have all seen the sustaining love you have for each other. We hope you let that remind you, of your relationships strength. The entire family has been in our prayers for the past week, and we will continue to pray that you are encouraged to cope in the days ahead. Don’t ever forget the boy and the man Wes was. We have missed you so much and I hate that now is the time I am telling you that WE MISS YOU, but we do! We don’t talk often enough, but our oldest friends are always our most cherished. We pray you find that moment to remember the small boy, then the man and know that we all loved him. May you focus on the many fun times you had with him over the years and always tell the children how much he was loved and admired. Our Love, Robert & Patti
