Richard Lee Beard - age: 75
(November 19, 1934 to September 03, 2010 ) Resident of Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma Visitation Information: Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Norwood-Nation Chapel in Idabel, Oklahoma Services will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 at the Haworth Assembly Of God Church with Pastor Gary Jennings Officiating. Burial will be in the Pollard Cemetery. Obituary: Richard Lee Beard was born on Nov. 19, 1934 at Foreman, Ark. to Dick Beard and Mary Belle Jennings Beard. He was married to Ruth Shoemaker in 1954 at Texarkana, Ark. Richard passed from this life on Sept. 3, 2010 at Paris, Tex. at the age of 75 years, 9 months, and 14 days. He was preceeded in death by his parents, and 1 Granddaughter, Crista Beard. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Ruth, of the home; 3 Sons; Donald Beard and Norma of Livingston, Tx., James Beard of Haworth, and Randy Beard and Kaye of the Iron Stob Community. 1 Daughter; Linda Ruth Underwood and Joe of Houston, Tx. 8 Brothers; Charles Jennings of Houston, Tx, Elvin Jennings of Arkadelphia, Ark., Glen Jennings of Hawkins, Tx., Steve Jennings of Paris, Tx., Larry Jennings of North Carolina, Gary Jennings of Arkadelphia, Ark., Roger Jennings of Hot Springs, Ark., and Kirby Jennings of Montalba, Tx. 3 Sisters; Brenda Cummings of New Braunfels, Tx. Mary Ann Jones and Becky Leader both of Frankston, Tx. 6 Grandchildren; Stephen Beard, Ranson Beard,Steven Meier, Kristy Jordan, Misty Johnson, and Sabrina Quinones. 6 Great-Grandchildren; Trevor Quinones, Maci Quinones, Austin Jordan, Tristain Meier, Dylan Johnson,and Brady Jordan and a host of neices, nephews and other relatives. |

Ruth and all of the family I just want to tell yall that yall are in mine and Jerry's thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss of Richard. He was a sweet man and he loved his family. I just lost my Mom & Dad and I will alway miss them.
