Obituary:
Virginia Mae Frances Setzer, of Idabel, OK, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Idabel, OK at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 5 days. She was born April 7, 1922 at Golden, OK, to Benjamin Marion Milligan and Lillie S. Jobe Milligan.
Virginia lived in McCurtain County since 1964, coming from Benton, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and in her early years, she enjoyed quilting, making ceramics, cooking and other activites. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded by her parents, her husband, and fourteen brothers and sisters, George, Fred, Stanley, John, Haskell, Roy, Thomas and Barry Milligan, Candice, Bonnie, Isabelle, Maggie, Ruth and Katherine Milligan.
Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Richard Setzer and Sandra of Idabel, OK; one brother, Jerry Milligan, of Haworth, OK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday September 14th at Norwood-Nation Chapel.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday Sept. 15th at Norwood-Nation Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Valliant Cemetery, Valliant, OK.

WOW, I can't believe you are gone. As I sit her today, thinking about the past, all I can do is smile. I am thinking about all the times that we laughed until we cried! It doesn't seem real that GOD has taken you as one of HIS angels. I know that you are up there laughing at how we are fumbling around down here, but I also know that you and Daddy are up there solving all the problems of the world. The day will come when we all can be together again but in the meantime, please take care of those that have gone before us and keep them in line. Godspeed to you my auntie...may you now rest in peace.
