Lloyd L. Cain - age: 83
(March 03, 1926 to July 17, 2009 ) Resident of Idabel, Oklahoma Visitation Information: Visitation; Monday, July 20, 2009 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Norwood-Nation Chapel Services; Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 9:00 A.M., Thursday July 23, 2009 at the Valliant Cemetery in Valliant, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bobby Stuart officiating. Obituary: Lloyd L. Cain was born on Mar. 3, 1926 at Newberg, Okla. to Hubert and Johnnie Donathan Cain. He was married to Alberta Tollett on June 2, 1951 at Wright City, Okla. He served his country during World War II in the U. S. Army. He won several medals, including the Bronze Star, while serving in the Philippines. Lloyd lived most of his life in McCurtain County as a heavy equipment mechanic and welder. He was a Deacon at the Felker Freewill Baptist Church, he also served as a member in the VFW and American Legion of Idabel. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 4 Children, 2 Brothers, and 1 Sister. He is survived by his wife, Alberta of the home, 2 Daughters;Joy Rogers and husband Ernie of Detroit, Tx, Shirley Lewellen and husband Craig of Spiro, Ok. 4 Sisters; Ida Box, Edna Box, Polly Mabry, and Betty Cantrell all of Valliant, Ok. His Mother-In-Law, Leoma Koffard of Idabel. 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. |
