Obituary:
Melvin Daniel Cagle, age 81, of Idabel passed away Wednesday September 21, 2010 at Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born November 2, 1928 at Navarro, Texas, the son of W.H. Cagle and Jewell Burnett Cagle.
Melvin lived in Idabel 16 years, coming from Stamford, Texas. He
was a veteran of World War 11, serving in Germany, was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He worked forty years for Stamford Co-Op Electric Company and was also a farmer.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Ruby Cagle of Idabel, OK;
Thee sons, Michael Daniel Cagle and wife Linda of Houston,Texas, Charles Lee Noseff, of Idabel, and Tony Melvin Cagle. Three daughters; Sheila Diane Cagle Pike and spouse, David Pike of Henderson, Texas, Syble Wilson and Larry Wilson of Princeton, Texas and Freddie Epps of Idabel, OK; Two sisters; Merlene Beggs of Stamford, Texas and Mamie Stokes of Hamlin,Texas; Grandchildren; Robert Epps, Dakota Epps, Alisha Cagle, T.S. Cagle, Holly Cagle, Bridgett Cagle, Tony Cagle, Julie Cagle, and one great-grandchild, Autumn Marie Epps.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday Sept. 23 at Norwood-Nation Chapel. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday September 24 at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery.
