(December 22, 1938 to October 11, 2010 ) Resident of Haworth, Oklahoma Obituary: Joe "Bill" William Pierce, 71, of Haworth, OK died October 11, 2010 in Kingman, Arizona. He was born December 22, 1938 in Haworth, OK, the son of Orie Pierce and Lillian Harris Pierce. Bill worked as a pipeline side boom operator since the age of 17, having worked all over the united States and was loved and respected by the entire pipeline industry. Bill loved his family and also loved to go fishing. He was preceded by his parents, Orie and Lillian Pierce, two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Pierce and one sister, Martha Jeanes. Bill leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Norris Pierce of Haworth, OK; brother in-law, Doyle Jeanes of Haworth; two sisters, Laverne Gilbreath of Broken Bow, OK; Darla Kates and husband , Roy of Idabel, OK; sixteen beloved nephews and nieces, Jack Pierce of Haworth, OK; Jim Pierce of Owasso, OK; Yvonna Barnes of Ada, OK; June Caudle of Horatio, AR; Buddy Pierce of Haworth; Robert Pierce of Texarkana; Frankie Jeanes of Broken Bow, OK, Lance Jeanes of Idabel; Jerry Jeanes of Broken Bow; Ricky Pierce of Haworth; Joey Pierce of Valliant, OK; Lisa Pierce of Haworth; Mark and Roger Kates of Haworth; Pam Roberson of Bluffton, South Carolina; Becky Smith of Idabel; and many pipeline friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17th at the Harris Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating.
