Dr. John A. Derryberry - age: 72
(May 05, 1937 to July 21, 2009 ) Resident of Idabel, Oklahoma Obituary: Dr. John A. Derryberry 70, of Idabel passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at his home in Idabel. He was born May 5, 1939 in Tyler, Texas to John and Mary Derryberry. He gruaduated from Idabel High School in 1957 and married JoAnn Storey on June 7, 1958. John Allen graduated from the University of Missouri Dental school in 1964 and opened his dental office in Idabel, September 1964 and practiced until September 1978. John Allen lived most all his life in Idabel and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He loved to sing and play the saxaphone. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky James, hi father in-law, Joseph Storey and a brother in-law, Joe Lee Storey. John Allen loved the LORD, his family and friends and leaves to cherish his memory his wife, JoAnn of the home, son, Mark A. Derryberry and wife Karen of Jenks, OK; daughter, Debra Foley of Edmond, OK; parents, John and Mary Derryberry of Idabel; two sisters, Betty Derryberry of Carrollton, Texas; Jan Anderson and husband, Walter of Highland Village, Texas; sister in-law, Judy Storey of Haworth, OK; and grandchildren, John Mark Derryberry and wife Lee, of Chicago, Ill; James Joseph Derryberry of Jenks, OK and Brittany and Evan Foley of Edmond, OK.
