Obituary:
Robert "Doug" Robbins, age 16, of Savannah, Oklahoma, passed away June 25, 2011 at Allen, Oklahoma. He was born December 13, 1994, the son on David Robbins and Stacy Smith Robbins.
Robert "Doug" had lived in Savannah two years, moving from Idabel. He was attending McAlester High School. "Doug" enjoyed basketball, fishing, camping, and video games. He worked at McAlester Wal-Mart, was a lifetime member of the
First Baptist Church in Idabel, but had been attending the Life Church in McAlester.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, David Robbins of Idabel, Oklahoma.
his mother, Stacy Rhoades of Savannah, Oklahoma; step-father, Ricky Rhoades of Clayton, Ok. two brothers, Josh Prater and wife Regina of Dalles, Oregon and Jason Robbins and wife Toya of Valliant, Oklahoma
two sisters, Brittany Peevy and husband Casey of Idabel, OK, Destin Robbins of Savannah, Oklahoma;
Maternal grandparents, Bill and JoAnn Smith of Rogers, Arkansas; two uncles, Rusty Smith and Zack Smith; three nieces, Abby Robbins, Kyna Peevy and Faithlyne Prater;
two nephews, Easton Peevy and Jake Robbins.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday June 28, 2011
at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday July 29, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery in Idabel.

To the Robbins/Rhoades family Josh and I are so sorry for your loss. Even though we only knew you a short time I enjoyed the time with Doug and remembered how sweet he was in class. Josh and I cannot even imagine the pain your family is feeling. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with you all during this horrible time. May God comfort and heal your heart with memories of Doug.
