James Speegle - age: 62
(May 18, 1949 to June 29, 2011 ) Resident of Idabel, Oklahoma Visitation Information: Visitation will from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday June 30, 2011 at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home, Idabel, Oklahoma Funeral services will be held in Tuscumbia, Alabama at a later date. Obituary: James "Jim" Speegle, of Idabel, Oklahoma died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in Idabel at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was born May 18, 1949 in Colbert, Alabama, the son of Leonard Speegle and Myrtle Sheffield Speegle. Jim had lived in Idabel since 1992, moving from Alabama. He was a Marine Corporal, serving in Vietnam and was a equipment engineer while in service. James was a disabled american veteran, a member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club and Kiamichi Independent Bikers Association. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Janice Speegle of Idabel, Oklahoma; one son, Jamie Speegle and wife Mindy of Tuscumbi, Alabama; two daughters, Candy Brittain and husband, Kevin of Idabel, Oklahoma. and Kristie Speegle also of Tuscumbia, Alabama; one brother, Hilliard Speegle of Cherokee, Alabama; four sisters, Sharon Speegle of Tuscumbia, Alabama; Pauline Bowling of Ford city, Alabama and Betty Louise Aday and Nettie Pearl Byrd, both of Cherokee, Alabama; four grandchidren, Benjamin Speegle, Kristen Speegle, Chase Brittain and Lainey Ann Brittain |
