He was born April 13, 1938 at Tom, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie Atwood and Mary Mable Horn. He and Connie Havrane were united in marriage on August 17, 1968 in New Boston, Texas. Joe was retired from the Timber Industry and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his wife Connie Atwood of Haworth, Ok. Three daughters; Marissa Johnson of Floresville, Tx., Lisa Garcia and husband Tony of Haworth, Ok. and Joyce Johnson and husband Joe of Moon, Ok. Two brothers; Emmett Atwood and wife Betty of Delaware, Ok. and Elbert Atwood and wife Sis of Magazine, Ark. One sister; Mildred Johnson and husband Jimmy of Claremore, Ok. Grandchildren; Justin Pitt, Curtis Johnson, Markki Hedrick, Stormey Fields, Sabrina Pitt, Breana Graham, Antonia Garcia, Kristina Garcia, Kaylin Johnson and Connor Garcia and several great grandchildren. |
