Obituary:
Loraine Storey, a lifetime resident of McCurtain County passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born January 14, 1919 at Bokhoma, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lee Swarts and Mandy Birty
Swarts.
Loraine and her late husband, Joseph Storey, owned and operated the Storey Grocery Store in Haworth for several years. Loraine was also a homemaker and a member of the Haworth Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mandy Swarts and her husband, Joseph Storey,
one son, Joe Lee Storey, and three sisters, Clarice Dollarhide, Opal Green, Marie Erhardt and one granddaughter, Becky James.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, JoAnn Derryberry of Idabel, OK; one daughter-in-law, Judy Storey of Haworth, OK, one sister,
Syble Jones of Durant, OK; one granddaughter, Debra Foley of Edmond, OK; three grandsons, Mark Derryberry and wife Karen, of Jenks, OK, Kevin Storey and wife, Angie Storey of Haworth, OK and Kirk Storey of Haworth.
six great-grandchildren, Brantley Storey of Haworth, OK, Kelsie Williams of Haworth, OK, Evan Foley of Edmond, OK, Brittney Foley of Edmond, OK, James Joseph Derryberry of Jenks, OK and John Mark Derryberry of Chicago, Illinois, also several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2011
at Denison Cemetery with Rev. David Mercer officiating. Interment will
follow in Denison Cemetery, Idabel, OK.

In Memory of Prescious Aunt Loraine...I will always remember you Aunt Loraine, you were a beautiful, fun and charming Aunt and I always enjoyed our conversations as an adult but I especially enjoyed visiting you in Haworth. remembering the Bubble Gum and Pop at the store and homemade icecreme..also grateful for the memories...never forget the white pot in the shed either...I always wanted to be like JoAnne when I grew up, she was so beautiful and marry someone like Joseph he was so handsome! See you again in Heaven...I know you are whole now and with Mom and the rest of the gang...God Bless You!! You are greatly loved and May God give the rest of the family Peace.
