Peggy Lee Williston, age 56, died Wednesday July 18, 2018 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She had been ill for the past two years from diabetes, becoming a double amputee. As her time neared, the angels picked her up and stood her outside the gates of heaven and when the gates opened wide the voice of her Lord said “Come Peggy, walk in, you are at home.” As Peggy entered, there was her loved ones waiting; her dad, Leroy Williston; sister, Kim Qualls; grandparents, Tobias and Rosa Williston and Enis and Mae Burke; and uncle, Douglas Burke.
Peggy is survived by her son, Brad Williston; grandkids, Dawson “Noswad” Williston, Blakley Williston, Ryder Williston; mother, Barbara Mitchell of the home; brothers, Russell Williston and Darrell Williston both of Idabel; sisters, Brooke Williston of Idabel, Debra Aguirre and husband, Chico of Wright City, Angela Pierce and husband, Richard; nephews and nieces, Tyler Williston who helped her to bed and her wheelchair, Dakota Williston who she called her “little Mexican nephew”, K'Brie and Dakota Williston, Santana and Brandon Scarborough, Jessica and Mond Faulks, Candace and Will Parker, Ashley and Wesley Johnson, Nina and Tanner Strawn, Shaylie Canant and Michael, Misty and Kyle Manning, Cody and Ashley Williston, Tammy Houston; Dobber Williston, Jason Qualls, Addie Jean Pierce and Sierra Manning; aunts, Patricia Stafford of Eagletown, Alline Johnson, Stella Williston, Martha Williston, Virginia Franklin and Effielene Harley, all of Idabel, and Esterleene Anderson of Broken Bow; numerous great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Ricky Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clardy Funeral Service.
