Sharon Garrett, 76 of Garvin, passed away February 6, 2019 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 13, 1942 at Pleasant Hill, the daughter of James Alton and Jannie Mozelle Woodrum. She married Jimmy Garrett on June 18, 1963. She was a lifetime resident of the area.

In the early eighties, she was a member of the WBA women’s bowling association and was a league bowler. In the early nineties, she and a friend owned and operated The Corner Cupboard Restaurant. Sharon was a phenomenal cook, to which no other could compare.
She loved gardening, mowing, card games, keeping her house spotless, watching the ID channel and most of all spending time with her dog Candy, friends and family.
